Houston: January 07 2008 - CONSUMER ALERT:

Houston, Tx: Consumers reported that patio companies in Houston were actually showing
potential customers photos of stamped concrete patios and pattern concrete driveways
that were not done by them but they were representing themselves as if their company had
actually performed the work.

Woodlands resident and longtime Aggie Mrs Carrera reported that a company called
Longhorn Concrete (aka Longhorn builders)  (aka supreme concrete and tile) showed her
photos of beautiful stamped concrete patios and driveways but Jay Mayfield and Ricky
Guerrero, owners of the so called company told her that they had done the jobs but where
unable to give the addresses of jobs as she has asked due to, " confidentiality
agreements?".

Long story made short Mrs Carrera gave Jay Mayfield (Houston resident) over $10,000 and
they broke up the concrete and abandoned the job, leaving the single mother of 2 kids out
$10,000.00 and with a gaping hole in the front of her house.

Mrs Carrera contacted the Decorative Concrete Institute for help and was referred to a
professional patio building company in Houston and they showed her some of the exact
same stamped concrete pictures that Ricky Guerrero and Jay Mayfield showed her, the
difference was that this stamped concrete company actually gave her the names,
addresses and phone numbers of the stamped concrete patio photos in question. Beware
of these companies: Longhorn Builders, Longhorn Concrete and Supreme Concrete and Tile
